| By This review is from: Adobe Photoshop CS6 Mac (CD-ROM) though I can't stay whether it would be worthwhile if you are using CS5.5. I'm reviewing the Public Beta version, BTW, and I won't be upgrading from CS4 simply because it is far too expensive. Adobe needs to realise that students aren't the only people on low incomes.Some of the main reasons to update to CS6 (especially from CS4) are that so many of the things that didn't work at all well in earlier versions of Photoshop work extremely well in the CS6 version. I clearly remember the days when brightness and contrast would NEVER be used by professional photographers. And neither professional photographers nor professional graphic designers would have used the burn and dodge tools, which now work brilliantly. The same goes for the auto tone, auto contrast and auto colour. The content-aware move tool is also quite impressive, though it doesn't work brilliantly for ALL images.
